Backbends are powerful tools that strengthen and stretch our physical bodies, improve posture, and release emotional tension.
This workshop is ideal for intermediate yogis, movement instructors, and anyone looking to learn safe alignment or revisit the foundational techniques of backbends. Irmak will hold space for students to safely explore the benefits of backbends while increasing mobility and flexibility in the spine.
This workshop includes intermediate back bends such as Ustrasana (Camel Pose), Dhanurasana (Bow Pose), variations, Eka Pada Rajakapotasana, Natarajasana (Dancers Pose), and Kapotasana (Full King Pigeon). It will also showcase preparation to more advanced backbends.
